One of the individuals convicted of the murder of XXXTentacion has sparked outrage by posting videos of the late rapper’s son on Instagram, accompanied by laughing emojis.

Michael Boatwright, who is serving prison time for his involvement in XXXTentacion’s 2018 murder, shared heartwarming clips of X’s son, Gekyume, walking around the house and showing pictures of his father to the cameraman. Instead of showing respect, Boatwright added multiple crying laughing emojis to the posts, seemingly mocking the child and his family.

In another post, Boatwright noted that Gekyume’s mother, Jenesis Sanchez, had viewed the previous post, adding further insult to injury. Boatwright’s actions suggest a callous disregard for the grief and pain experienced by XXXTentacion’s loved ones.

Despite being behind bars, Boatwright expressed a desire to contact either Jenesis or XXXTentacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, via text, further demonstrating his lack of remorse for his actions.

Boatwright, along with Trayvon Newsome and Dedrick Williams, was sentenced to life in prison for his role in XXXTentacion’s murder. A fourth individual, Robert Allen, received a two-year sentence after taking a plea deal and testifying against the others. Boatwright’s apparent disregard for the severity of his crime, as evidenced by his mocking behavior on social media, has sparked widespread condemnation from internet users.

Reacting to Boatwright’s posts, one user expressed disbelief at his callousness, remarking on the stark contrast between his actions and his current living conditions in prison. Another user called for an extension of Boatwright’s sentence as a consequence of his behavior.

Many netizens expressed heartbreak and anger at Boatwright’s lack of empathy, highlighting the cruelty of his actions towards XXXTentacion’s family, particularly his young son.
