Drake and DJ Akademiks might testify at XXXTentacion’s murder trial
XXXTentacion’s murder suspect, Dedrick Williams is calling some big names to testify because of their alleged involvement.
According to the court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Williams and his attorney, Mauricio Padillio, have filed a motion to request Drake’s participation at the trial.
Moreover, the documents say, ‘The testimony of the said Aubrey Drake Graham is material to the case, and it is necessary to take the deposition of the said Aubrey Drake Graham to prevent the failure of justice.’

In addition, Padillio claims that he acknowledges that the OVO rapper is an ‘international celebrity’ who might be impossible to serve.
However, he wants the Court to pass an order for Drake’s testimony to be recorded prior to an official court reporter.
Additionally, Williams’s legal team is demanding DJ Akademiks to testify in the trial.
According to Padillo, the 31-year-old podcaster constantly makes remarks about XXXTentacion’s case while streaming.
The documents read, ‘Mr. Allen, who goes by the stage name ‘DJ Akademiks’ posted his podcast on December 21, where he openly discusses the case, acknowledges being served, and states, ‘I am not showing up to the court to talk to y’all n****s’. It is clear that nothing short of a court order will ensure Mr. Allen’s participation in a deposition.’

More about Drake’s alleged beef with XXXTentacion
Dedrick Williams and his legal team believe that the beef between Drake and XXXTentacion began in 2017. According to reports, their beef stemmed from the Toronto native’s song titled KMT.
Meanwhile, the Florida native accused Drake of allegedly ripping off his track, ‘Look At Me!’
Moreover, Williams’ attorney Mauricio Padillio suggests that the lyrics of Drake’s song called, ‘On BS’ seemingly addresses XXXTentacion’s murder.
The lines on the track go as, ‘Maybe I should break that 10, do a five, then if it gets live, do a five again. f he held his tongue on that live, he’d be alive again, damn/I never put no prices on the beef until we end this s***.’
For the unversed, the ‘SAD!’ singer was shot dead outside RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida five years back in June 2018.
Meanwhile, four suspects are currently being held in connection with the murder of XXXTentacion. In addition, his murder trial is scheduled to start on 9th January in Broward County, Florida.
