Xaviaer DuRousseau, a political media influencer and FOX News analyst, recently found himself at the center of social media controversy after criticizing both pop superstar Beyoncé and her fanbase, known as the “BeyHive.” DuRousseau’s comments came after Beyoncé publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally in the singer’s hometown. On FOX News on October 25, DuRousseau not only criticized Harris but also directed pointed comments at Beyoncé, questioning the singer’s involvement in politics.

Xaviaer DuRousseau, a vocal conservative commentator based in Los Angeles, suggested that Harris’s endorsement by Beyoncé seemed “desperate.” In his televised remarks, he asserted that Beyoncé should focus on reviving the popularity of her latest album rather than weighing in on political matters. Specifically, he referenced her “Cowboy Carter” album, released in March, which debuted strongly but eventually fell from the top charts. The album’s lead single, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” had enjoyed initial success on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Country charts but saw a decline in interest shortly after.

Taking his criticism further, on October 28, DuRousseau took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to criticize Beyoncé’s fanbase directly, calling them “domestic terrorists.” He wrote, “The bravest thing I’ve ever done in my career is drag Beyoncé on live TV. The BeyHive are domestic t*rrorists.” His post quickly attracted backlash, with many Beyoncé fans urging him to “grow up” and accusing him of using the singer’s name to gain attention. Some fans labeled his remarks as a ploy to increase his online engagement by courting controversy.

DuRousseau’s outspoken nature is not new to his followers or to those familiar with his political activism. A former Black Lives Matter supporter, he later shifted his stance and has become a prominent conservative voice, frequently appearing on media platforms like FOX News, FOX Business, Newsmax, and The Daily Caller. His journey into conservative commentary included a noted switch during the George Floyd protests, which led him to criticize what he now views as flaws in the movement he once supported. In 2022, Xaviaer DuRousseau became the first Black and the youngest member of the Alameda County Republican Party, marking a historic moment for the California GOP.

Alongside his role as a media analyst, DuRousseau is a presenter at PragerU, a conservative non-profit organization founded by Dennis Prager. As part of his work with PragerU, he hosts Guess or Mess, a children’s game show designed to introduce American values through historical figures, adding to his influence as a conservative content creator.

This latest controversy follows previous statements made by DuRousseau targeting high-profile figures who have endorsed Harris. Earlier this month, he criticized former President Barack Obama, accusing him of using race to bolster Harris’s support base. He also pointed out what he perceives as a lack of tangible accomplishments by Harris, suggesting that it has contributed to her waning popularity among Black men.

DuRousseau’s recent comments have fueled a strong reaction on social media, as Beyoncé’s fans have responded in defense of the artist. However, the incident has also served to amplify DuRousseau’s platform, bringing him more attention as he continues to shape his career as a conservative voice in media. Whether his approach will endear him to a broader audience or deepen his divisive public image remains to be seen, as his outspoken commentary continues to attract both fervent support and heated criticism.
