In 2018, Travis Reinking killed four people because of which he was sentenced to life imprisonment. His arrest is without the possibility of parole. As per sources, the 33-year-old Travis was found guilty on 4th February for all 16 accounts. He has been accused of eight first-degree murder charges. The official announcement, on behalf of the jury, was done on 5th February, just after the victim impact statement.

Mark Fishburn, judge of Davidson County Criminal Court, has accepted the murder charge statement on the name of Travis Reinking. The final decision on the remaining charges by the Judge is yet to be confirmed whether it is concrete or consecutive. The report says that he will make a decision in the month of May.

What did Travis Reinking do?

In an open fire Travis Reinking has killed four people with a rifle. This incident took place at a Waffle House in Nashville, Tennessee on 22nd April 2018. As per sources, the shooting started after 3:20 AM. Travis Reinking pressed the trigger of his rifle when a customer named James Shaw Jr. Tried to take away his rifle. During this chaos, the customer died.

The report says, the families of the four victims were testified before the jury session during the trial. The victims killed by Travis rain king were under 30 years of age. He killed two people outside the restaurant. One person was a Waffle House employee named Taurean Sanderlin, 29, and the other one was the customer named Joe R. Perez, 20.

Travis Reinking was arrested for killing the other two people as well, inside the bar. The victims killed inside the bar were Akilah DaSilva, 23, who was a college student and musician. The other victim was a 21-year-old college student majoring in social work, named DeEbony Groves.

The mother of Joe R. Perez, Patricia Perez, said, “my son would have turned 24 this year.” He recently shifted to Nashville for helping his brother in business. After this incident took place the victim’s brother closed his business and left the place. She said, “our lives were completely destroyed. This has broken me, not just my spirit, not just my family, but also my mind. This has broken me mentally.”

After realizing that her child is no more DaSilva’s mother said, “every morning before I even get out of my bed I relive that night in my head.”

The prosecution against Travis Reinking has asked the court for life without parole for him. They stated that “his bullets were still ripping apart the family members of his victims.”
