The Tinder Swindler, the basis of Netflix’s new documentary, has already been banned from the dating website. Shimon Hayut is accused of catfishing ladies into assuming his identity was “Simon Leviev”. Claiming that he’s the child of Israeli diamond mogul Lev Leviev before defrauding them for huge amounts of money.
Tinder released a statement saying to media on Friday that “we have done internal checks. And can verify Simon Leviev isn’t any longer functional on Tinder using either of his known identities.”
