Joe Exotic is popularly known for his Tiger King series. However, Joe Exotic’s real name is Joseph Maldonado Passage. He had opened a private zoo in Oklahoma City, United States back in the year 1999.
However, it was only after the activist Carole Baskin that the whole thing turned upside down for Joe Exotic. She accused him of mistreating the animals and also forced him to shut down his zoo.
Joe Exotic Was Accused Of Attempting Murder
Joe Exotic owned a private zoo in the Oklahoma City of United States. It was an animal rights activist Carole Baskin who accused him first of mistreating the animals he had kept in his zoo. The argument later turned serious and Carole accused Joe Exotic of trying to murder her.
It was only back in the year 2020 in January that the US court sentenced Joe Exotic to be prisoned for 22 years. As per the reports though, Joe has been known to have pleaded to not let him die in the jail.

Joe Exotic Resentenced For 21 Years In Prison
January 2020 had Joe Exotic with a punishment of 22 years, however, it was due to a procedural defect that the authority had to give him an exemption of 1 year. Joe Exotic is however battling prostate cancer and is supposed to abide by the US law rules too. A series on Netflix titled Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness had the whole story about Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin in the series.
It was on 28th Jan this year when the US court dismissed granting him a second chance and declared that he would be spending 21 years in jail. Moreover, evidently, Carole Baskin is still fearful for her life as she thinks that Joe Exotic hates him and could still harm her.
