Nick and Mariah’s Dating History
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey’s story had always been a fairy tale. The couple had officially met back in 2005 at “Teen Choice Awards”. Within a few weeks of dating, the couple tied the knot and even started a small and happy family. The couple gave birth to two twins back in 2011, Monroe and Moroccan.
Soon, in 2014 speculations started to arise about a divorce. Soon, their divorce was finalized in 2016. Despite years of speculation that Carey was the bigger celebrity and drove them apart, Cannon said that he always knew whom he was with.

However, according to Nick Cannon the marriage would have worked out had their inflamed egos and emotions not acted as obstacles in the course of their relationship.

Both Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey still remain dedicated parents, telling Us Weekly, “You realize that unconditional love is all you need when you put your children first.” As a result, “all of that other stuff just falls apart.”
