Report says hip-hop producer and Rapper Shawn Shiller Fequiere dies after battling cancer on 18th December, Saturday. Shawn Shiller Fequiere was popular with his stage name Kangol Kid. At the time of his death, he was 55 years old. As per sources, the rapper Kangol Kid was suffering from colon cancer that sadly took his life.
His disease was diagnosed in February 2021 and was going through treatment. Kangol Kid was a member of a Brooklyn-based hip-hop group and by profession, he was also a breakdancer. The name of the group, of which Kangol was a part, is UnTouchable Force Organisation i.e., UTFO.
In New York, this group was a great influence for the growth of hip-hop and even for the people who are currently hoping for their best in this music career.
The disease of Kangol Kid was very severe because of which he was in the hospital. The colon cancer that Kangol Kid was suffering from was at stage 4. It was difficult to cure his disease completely. The heartbreaking news of his demise received confirmation by Kangol Kid’s son T.Shaun Fequiere on Saturday via his Instagram account.
He also shared a post on Facebook that says, “I am a son, of a legend! I love you, Kangol Kid #Blessed #thankful #thankgod”.
Kangol Kid’s Children and Family
As per sources, Kangol Kid married twice in his life, and from both marriages, he has a total of four children. Kangol Kids has three sons from his first marriage with Christine whose names are T.Shaun, Andre, and Giovanni. From his second marriage with Tajiri Swindell, he has one daughter whose name is Amancia.
Amancia was born in 2015 and is the youngest child of Kangol Kid. We got to know about Amancia from an Instagram post. Talking about his son T.Shaun Fequiere, he is a self-proclaimed writer, DJ, and Music Producer by profession. He owns a venture with the name TLevision.
