Justine Gross, a Penn State University student went missing on 10 November 2021. A few days after her disappearance, she was found dead on November 12, 2021. Here’s everything we know about the case-
Who was Justine Gross?
Justine Gross was a 19-year-old sophomore at the College of Liberal Arts. She was currently living in Pennsylvania.
There is no information available about her family or personal life right now. However, Justine’s disappearance quite stirred the internet after her sister shared the news. Many people started supporting the family and prayed that she’d be found soon. It came as a shock to many people that Justine wasn’t found alive.
Justine Gross’s Disappearance –
Jasmine, Justine’s sister informed everyone that her sister was missing through a Facebook post. She wrote-“I am so numb and heartbroken right now. My 19-year-old sister, Justine Gross is currently missing.” Jasmine then describes Justine’s physical appearance. “She was last seen at her off-campus apartment yesterday. Her shoes and cell phone have been located. Please share this post if you can to get her picture out there as much as possible. Thank you,” she added.
Justine’s Death and Family’s Response-
Two days later, Jasmine updated her post informing everyone of Justine Gross’ death. She was absolutely heartbroken and wrote-“I appreciate all the support that everyone has provided. No need to continue to share this post. She was found but not alive”. She also asked everyone to respect her family’s privacy during such hard times while everyone was coordinating with the officials.
Her sister did not reveal the reason for her death but an investigation is still going on. Her shoes and cell phone were found by the police. The State College Police Department did indicate that the death might have been accidental. Nothing is confirmed at the moment.
While her friends and family express their condolences. One friend of Justine wrote- “I am truly heartbroken. I am so glad that I got the chance to meet her and become friends with her here at school. She was a beautiful girl with an even more beautiful soul. I am so sorry. Rip.”
One person wrote- “Our condolences and prayers for you and your family. Our daughter was a cheerleading teammate of Justine in SHS.”
According to her classmates, Justine was a bright student who was cheerful and happy most of the time.
Her family and family are shocked at such an untimely death.
