Who is Tiwa Savage?
Tiwa Savage is from Isale Eko, Nigeria, she was born in 1980. She is a songwriter and actress. Furthermore, she went to London for her studies and after five years, she started her music career. In 2009, Savage signed a deal of publishing with Sony/ATV Music Publishing after participating in the UK edition of The X Factor. She later came back to Nigeria and then in 2012, signed with Mavin Records. Tiwa is famous for Kele Kele, Eminado, etc. songs Savage’s music is a mixture of pop, R&S, hip-hop, and Afrobeats, she sings in English, Yoruba.
Furthermore, she also raised funds to build schools in Nigeria. In April 2014, Savage got married to Tuni Balogun in Dubai. Then the next year, she gave birth to a child. After, one or two years, she accused her husband of drug addiction, financial recklessness, and abandonment. For her, the marriage was over. Tiwa’s father was suffering from an illness for two years and on 19th July 2021, she lost him. Later, she revealed, someone is extorting her with a sex tape.
Tiwa shares sex tape blackmail
Tiwa said someone is trying to extort her but she will not pay. She shared that the video was posted on Snapchat by his lover but later, he realized it and deleted it but till then someone had downloaded it already. Savage was afraid after watching the video.
“I am not going to call it a sex tape, but it’s a tape between me and the person I am dating right now,” she told radio host Angie Martinez of Power 105.1 in New York.
Tiwa revealed that the incident happened last month and that the person tried extorting money from her, but that she was not going to allow anyone to blackmail her “for doing something that is natural”.
