Sky Brown: Players from over the world are coming to play in the Tokyo Olympics 2020, and win medals for their respective countries. Every 4 years, the Olympics take place in a different country. Baron Pierre de Coubertin presented the idea in 1894, the first Olympic Champion was the American James Connolly who won the triple jump to become the first Olympic champion in more than 1500 years.

Sky Brown is a skateboarder who competes for worldwide sports events like the 2016 US Open since she was just eight years old. Born in July 2008, Brown turned 13 in 2021, making her the youngest ever to compete for Britain in an Olympics and that too for Team GB.

But as we all were thinking, Brown is not the youngest medallist ever. Kokona Hiraki of Japan, aged just 12, to become the youngest ever Olympic medallist in the last 85 years as she took gold in the event, with 19- year old Japanese Skater Sakura Yosozumi winning the silver medal.
Sky Brown has arrived at the Tokyo Olympic 2020 after competing and winning the US Version of “Dancing With The Stars: Juniors” in 2018. Last year, Brown got injured and was very critical, medical experts said the teen was ‘lucky to be alive, she was world number 3. Sky Brown was born in Miyazaki, Japan too, Meiko, and her British father, Stu, lived in Japan but spending her teen in the US, as Tony Hawk was working as her coach.
In 2019, Sky Brown finished third at the World Skateboarding Championship, and next year she secured her Olympic qualification by getting a Bronze medal at Park World Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil
WHY IS SKY BROWN COMPETING FOR TEAM GB?
AS Sky Brown was having dual British-Japanese nationality, Sky had the choice of playing for any of the two countries. She opted to join Team GB due to feeling that the British Skateboarding Association would place less pressure on her than the Japanese Association.
Brown also loves surfing and wants to win a medal at surfing too. She is very lively on social media and never leaves a chance to show her happiness to be a part of the game.
