After climbing the 1,070-foot-tall Salesforce Tower in San Francisco, the anti-choice protester known as the “pro-life Spiderman” was arrested. The 22-year-old accomplished this feat without the use of a safety rope or harness. After climbing all 61 floors to the top of the roof, law officers took the man into arrest.

The rise comes just one day after a draught Roe v. Wade ruling was leaked. This Supreme Court case, which legalized abortion in the United States in 1973, is likely to be reversed.

At 9:21 a.m. on Tuesday, witnesses saw Maison DesChamps, also known as the “pro-life Spiderman,” scaling the Salesforce skyscraper. By 10:50 a.m., he had made it to the top of the tower. The police were then notified. He’s been charged with two misdemeanours since then, including trespassing and resisting a police investigation for failing to obey police commands to cease climbing.

Deschamps is a rock climber, according to his official website. He also wanted to climb the tower in order to “throw doctors in jail” and raise at least a million dollars for pro-life organisations.

At the age of 16, the college student began rock climbing. He is now pursuing a degree in finance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Deschamps alleges that in 2021, he ascended the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas to protest covid requirements.

“No… it was enjoyable,” he answered when an ABC7 interviewer asked if he regretted climbing the Salesforce skyscraper. “I’d do it all over again.”

The college student climbed the entire tower, pausing only to use his phone to update his social media accounts. He had been planning the climb for a month, according to reports, and had used Google Maps to find the building.

The anti-abortion activist hopes to raise $1 million to fund pro-life organisations that “save lives.” According to DesChamps t hese surgeons are killing these babies on the operating table and then abandoning them to die. “We’re not trying to scream at women who want abortions, and we’re not trying to blame them.”
