Kim De Klop, 27-year-old, is a Belgian Pilot for Challenge Air cargo. Kim De Klop flies cargo planes around the world; that includes huge Boeing 737-300 and 747-400. She shares her journey in the flight on her official account on Instagram with username- @737pilotgirl. She shares the photos from the flight deck on the account; beautiful views of the destinations that she flies to from the window. The blonde pilot started her career with Romanian airline Blue Air; at the age of; 21-year-old.
At that time, she used to fly Boeing 737s for the low-cost airline. Once she shared the picture of the 747 cargo plane and captioned it- how much do you think we can carry? Kim said that many people don’t expect somebody like me would be a pilot even after so many years of experience in this job. Kim gets a watch of her choice sponsored by the luxury watch company Breitling. The watch is worth up to 8 thousand euros, and in return, she endorses the timepiece on her Instagram account.
Kim says that whenever she opens he Instagram account she feels lucky for what she, had earned. She is the first officer on a 737 and flew with 8000 people across Europe. She was full of gratitude to the people who give her good vibes.
Kim and Her Journey So Far

Kim De Klop added that she is a proud woman in this industry, and among that 5% of women who fly around the globe. She decided to become a pilot when she was 19. She left Blue Air in 2017 and currently got a job at Norwegian as she announced this on the Instagram handle. She captioned the picture in her uniform by stating new life, new style. After getting this new job, she purchased a home near the airport. Her life was going perfect, and then she met Will Cochrane. Will Cochrane is a Norwegian Airlines Pilot-in-training and has good looks. About Will Cochrane, Kim said that the two were friends initially and later started dating.
She stated about the strips she acquired, and it was based; on no. of hours, a pilot flew the plane. She said that if you have one strip, then you flew less than 500 hours. If two strips then, you flew less than 2000 hours on 737. For three-strip, you should fly more than 2000 hours. And then four strips mean that you are a captain finally! She gets 20 days off-time per month.
As the covid-19 pandemic broke, her career was on halt. Currently, she has 3500 hours and needs 500 hours more to become a Norwegian captain. Will Cochrane has 2500 hours as compared to her, and she says that the couple laughs about that she will become captain first.
