On Saturday, Jean Carlos Santiago Pérez, more commonly known as Guaynaa, was involved in an automobile accident in Los Angeles, California.
The singer was hospitalized after a car hit his car at high speed. It caused injuries that caused him to be hospitalized.
His PR agency, French Toast, said that another car caused the accident. Taking to social networks, the singer shared photos and posted an update on his health, notifying fans that he was fine and would focus on recovery.
Lele Pons, the rapper’s girlfriend, confirmed that he is doing well and recovering at home.
Who is Guaynaa?
Known as Jean Carlos Santiago Pérez, Guaynaa rose to fame after releasing the song ReBoTa in 2019. Over 300 million views have been logged on YouTube for the song, which topped the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart.
A 4* platinum certification was also awarded to the track by the RIAA Latin division. In July 2019, Becky G, Nicky Jam, Farruko, and Sech contributed to the remix to make it more danceable. The song became popular resulting in a record deal between Universal Music Latino and Republic Records.
On Instagram, Venezuelan singer-influencer Lele Pons thanked fans and well-wishers who sent her boyfriend their love and messages. Photos were posted of the rapper and she confirmed that he was not seriously hurt.
Additionally, Guaynaa updated his fans about his health condition through a set of pictures. His family, friends, and followers thanked him for the support and well wishes and he expressed gratitude to God and life in general.
The musician is pictured lying on a bed with a brace around his neck in the photos. The singer’s car was hit in the middle of the road by a high-speed vehicle, according to the French Toast PR Agency.

Se Te Nota, the collaborative song Guaynaa and Lele Pons released in September 2020, sparked romance rumors. During Halloween, the pair dressed as Lisa Simpson and Milhouse together, which led to more rumors.
