Peter Aykroyd who was a former cast member and writer on SNL and also the younger brother of Dan Aykroyd died just a day before his 66th birthday.
SNL announced Peter’s death by tweeting Tom Schiller’s 1979 comedic shirt “Java Junkie”. Peter Aykroyd was starred in it as a coffee addict and Teri Garr as his waitress/dealer.

Dan Aykroyd is a famous Canadian comedian, actor, musician, producer, and filmmaker. He was also an original member of the “Not Ready for Prime Time Players” on Saturday Night live from 1975 to 1979. He also performed with his brother John Belushi in a musical sketch on SNL called the Blue Brothers. After which they turned into an actual performing band and then they featured in the film The Blues Brothers in 1980.
