We had the longest reigning monarch in Queen Elizabeth II. As she continued to rule the throne even after her husband Prince Philip’s death until the day she died.

Well, Queen Elizabeth was 96 years old when she took her last breath on 8th September this year at Balmoral Castle. Where all her four children were present when she departed from this world. But after the demise of the Queen, the world is trying to find its next monarch. Which surely must be among her four children.

Prince Charles III

Prince Philip

Prince Charles III is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. He was born on 14th November 1948. His royal title of Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester was given to him when he was 9. He got married to Princess Diana and had two sons Prince William and Prince Harry.

However, his marriage to Princess Diana didn’t last and after his death of Diana in an accident he married Camilla Parker. Meanwhile, now Prince Charles is the next heir to the throne after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. As he will be now King Charles and Camilla Parker would be the Queen Consort.

Princess Anne

Princess Anne was the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip who was born on 15th august, 1950. Anne was married to Olympic gold medalist Captain Mark Phillips. However, in her marriage with Philips, she gave birth to a son Peter and a daughter Zara. In 1989 she separated from Phillips.

Later Princess Anne married Sir Timothy Laurence whom she dated for a long. Though she never gave her kids any royal title.

Prince Andrew

The third child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip was Prince Andrew. He was born in the year 1960 on 19th February. Prince Andrew post his education went on to serve in the British Royal Navy.

In 1986, Prince Andrew went on to marry Sarah Ferguson and was given the royal title of Duke of York. The couple had two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Prince Edward

Prince Edward is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. He was born on 10th March in the year 1964. Prince Edward is among the royals who usually stay away from the limelight.

In 1999, Prince Edward married Sophie Rhys-Jones. With whom he has a daughter Lady Louise and a son James. The couple didn’t give royal titles of HRH to their kids.
