TikTok is already recognized for introducing bizarre hacks and products. However this time people are going gaga over a new condiment known as the Pink Sauce.

What is Pink Sauce?
The viral Pink Sauce is a concoction created by TikTok creator and celebrity chef Chef Pii.
The sauce is described as ‘sweet, savory, and seasoned’ all in one on its bottle.
According to the official website of Pink Sauce, it includes tons of natural ingredients such as:
- Water
- Raw honey
- Sunflower seed oil
- Distilled vinegar
- Garlic
- Pink Himalayan sea salt
- Pitaya
- Dried spices
- Lemon juice
- Citric acid and
- Milk
If you didn’t know, Pitaya is a secondary name for Dragon Fruit. Reportedly the sauce gets its unique pink color from the fruit.
According to Chef Pii, the Pink Sauce can be used as a condiment for fried chicken, cucumber, tacos, gyros, and shrimp among many others.
In addition, the entire bottle of Sauce costs only $20 and supposedly contains only 90 calories.

TikTok users react to the viral Pink Sauce
Although the Sauce has quickly taken over the feeds of TikTok, many users couldn’t help but worry about the bizarre ingredients.
One user wrote, ‘People that bought the sauce need to take an IQ test bc why would you purchase a sauce on a website that looks like it’s meant for mink lashes.’
Another chimed in, ‘Wait. So y’all paying $30 to have some random woman ship y’all some secret pink she made in her kitchen clear across the country THROUGH USPS IN THIS HEAT?’
A different user said, ‘People are buying unrefrigerated “pink sauce” with no preservatives from a stranger on TikTok and are shocked when they get sick?’
Moreover, a user agreed, commenting, ‘that tik tok sauce is just a new variant.’
Chef Pii responds to massive backlash
Chef Pii took to her TikTok handle to address the backlash she received on the internet for her viral Pink Sauce.
She began with, ‘Alright, you all. Time to acknowledge the elephant in the room.’

The chef then went on to acknowledge consumers’ certain problems with the ingredients and the label.
Furthermore, she made a public apology stating that they will replace the faulty labels with the correct product soon.

Chef Pii, who has tagged herself as ‘The Flavor Genie,’ further continued that she will send customers, who have received faulty labels,’ a gift and a thank-you note.’
Additionally, she said that the item follows the ‘FDA standards’ and is currently in the ‘lab testing’ phase.
