Fans were quick to notice a scar on the neck of Elon Musk when he recently sat down for an interview on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

Elon Musk starred in a recent episode on Tucker Carlson Tonight which aired on 17th April.
However, fans couldn’t help but wonder about the scar on the neck of the American business magnate.
Nevertheless, Musk sustained the neck scar following two spinal cord surgeries.
In addition, the 51-year-old Tesla CEO talked about his back and neck issues back in 2020.
A Twitter user named @flyerandyp took to the platform to ask Musk whether he underwent spinal cord surgery because he has a neck scar.

Musk on the other hand replied by sharing that he had a Mobi-C disc inserted at C5-C6. In addition, the first surgery was not able to remove the bone spur in his spinal cord.
Hence, Musk had to undergo a second surgery where the bone spur was successfully removed.
He said, ‘Maybe I can be helpful. Had Mobi-C disc put in at C5-C6, however, 1st surgery failed to remove a bone spur sticking into my spinal cord.’
He continued, ‘2nd surgery took care of it. Recommend using Yelp or other online reviews of doctors. Effectiveness varies widely.’

Elon Musk’s key takeaways from Tucker Carlson’s interview
During his interview with Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk spoke about the downsides of the processing of artificial intelligence.
He claimed that advancement in AI will most likely result in the destruction of civilization.
He mentioned, ‘AI is more dangerous than, say, mismanaged aircraft design or production maintenance or bad car production, in the sense that it is, it has the potential.’
He added, ‘However small one may regard that probability, it is non-trivial. It has the potential of civilization destruction.’
Furthermore, Musk went on to recall the time when he teamed up with Google co-founder Larry Page to work on artificial intelligence years ago. He stated that he warned Page about the importance of the safety of AI.
Musk then argued that humans have an advantage over their chimpanzee counterparts because they are smarter. Also, he predicted that AI has the potential to outperform mankind in multiple areas.
He mentioned, ‘It’s a singularity like a black hole because you don’t know what happens after that. It’s hard to predict. So I think we should be cautious with A.I., and I think there should be some government oversight because it is a danger to the public.’
