WHAT IS A STEM PLAYER?

Kanye West’s latest project, Stem Player, is thought to be made up of two parts: a platform and a gadget. The gadget, as the name implies, is a little spherical electrical instrument that allows you to make stems. Stems are distinct sound fragments that are combined together to create a song in audio production.

The Stem Player, which costs $200 and can be purchased online, allows you to become a producer by breaking any music into stems and customizing it. However, it appears that you do not need to purchase the Stem Player to listen to Donda 2, as he revealed a Stem Player “platform” as well.

The platform’s exact specifics are currently unknown, but enthusiasts believe there will be an app and a website where Donda 2 may be streamed.

KANYE TURNS DOWN $100M APPLE MUSIC DEAL

Further, Kanye said, “After 10 albums and being under 10 contracts, I turned down a hundred million dollar Apple deal. No one can pay me to be disrespected.”

He added to his statement, “We set our own price for our art. Tech companies made music practically free so if you don’t do merch, sneakers, and tours, you don’t eat.”

According to reports, Apple has canceled a $2 million sponsorship contract in which they planned to webcast his Donda 2 listening party event on February 22nd.
