The viral trend of What is happening on January 5th, 2023 came into existence after a user named strqthngs posted the video. The video had the lines “Me after releasing what is going to happen on 5th of January of 2023”. Though it didn’t have anything specific.
Yet the video got millions of views on it. Moreover, some of the users have been confused about the trend. As some of them have related it to Illinois’s Safe-T Act. Which is supposed to come to work from the first of January next year. While some of the users have made a joke about the trend in their own way.
What is Safe-T Act?
Despite the viral trend mentioning the date 5th January of next year. It didn’t actually specify what’s special on that date. However, some of the users have found the connection of the trend with the Safe-T Act of Illinois. Which is soon to get in action from next year.
According to the Rockford Register Star, the Safe-T Act will let 400 criminal defendants be released back in their communities. Yet, the trend didn’t have anything hinting that the act and the trend had any connection.
