Yao Cabrera was found in a ‘grave’ state after falling from a third-floor balcony. Fans are wondering if this is a hoax considering his past records.
In Argentina, a popular and controversial YouTuber has reportedly fallen from a third-floor balcony, injuring himself. The rapper is believed to be in intensive care after then falling from a third-floor balcony on January 31. The Uruguayan influencer hasn’t been immune to scandals, so this is no surprise to him, according to news reports.
YouTuber Yao Cabrera was filming a video and faking his death earlier this year when the incident occurred. At the time, he was living in Villa Carlos Paz outside the city of Cordoba. A video of him was being filmed from the balcony. On Tuesday, February 1, Juan Etchegoyen of Argentine newspaper, La Nacion, first reported the news, claiming his father had confirmed it. The influencer didn’t seem to know what he was filming and how he fell. In 2016, another YouTuber sneezed on a homeless man in a prank amid the surge of Covid-19. Luke Erwin gained backlash for his tone-deaf act.
Who is Yao Cabrera?
Yao Cabrera is Uruguayan by birth but has lived in Argentina for many years. YouTube has become a leading platform for young influencers over the past decade, with their daily videos detailing their lives and adventures. His YouTube subscribers number about 9 million, and his Instagram followers number about 9 million. Additionally, he has been known to pull pranks and other sorts of stunts on his YouTube channel.
He posted a video in October 2020 where he faked her death in a bathtub using ketchup and another YouTuber named Rosina Valiente to fool another friend. A video Cabrera and his friends fabricated in December 2020 portrayed him in his car as being murdered by two gunmen on a motorcycle.
The popularity of the Paul brothers
He is classified as one of Latin America’s most popular YouTube personalities, alongside Logan and Jake Paul. Announcing a televised boxing bout against former Argentine world boxing champion Marcos Maidana in March, Yao Cabrera recently joined the Paul brothers in boxing. Casarera posted a photo to his Instagram showcasing his training for the match at home.
In addition to his continued fake death videos, Cabrera has also been involved in scandals similar to those involving the Paul brothers.
According to police, he rode out a bicycle without paying in a bicycle shop in a Buenos Aires mall. He claimed he was creating content. YouTuber got 24 hours in prison as punishment after the video went viral.
YouTuber Caeli, one of Mexico’s most popular influencers, released a video in 2018 alleging that another YouTuber spiked her drink at a party in Argentina.
In spite of Caeli’s anonymous statement, Yao Cabrera responded in his own video. He denied the allegations and claiming Caeli just wanted to get more YouTube likes. A drug-filled party was also thrown by Cabrera during quarantine during the Coronavirus epidemic.
