Marnie Schulenburg, a 37-year-old soap opera actress, died on Tuesday, May 17. She died at a Bloomfield, New Jersey hospital, according to reports. Schulenburg is best recognised for her appearances as Alison Stewart on CBS’ ‘As the World Turns,’ Jo Sullivan on the ‘One Life to Live’ revival, and Maggie Caysen on Showtime’s ‘City on a Hill.’
Schulenburg died of stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, according to reports. The actress was released from the hospital on Mother’s Day, according to SheKnows Soaps, so she could spend time with her family. Schulenburg leaves behind her two-year-old daughter, Coda, whom she shares with her actor husband Zack Robidas, who has appeared in films such as ‘Sorry for Your Loss’ and ‘Succession.’

Life and career of Marnie Schulenburg
Schulenburg was born on Cape Cod and attended DeSales University to study theatre. Soon after graduation, she began playing at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and for the Dramatists Guild of America in New York City. Schulenburg has also appeared in episodes of ‘Blue Bloods,’ ‘Fringe,’ ‘Royal Pains,’ ‘Army Wives,’ ‘Divorce,’ and ‘The Good Fight.’

I’m not sure whether this was the best option, but it was all we had.” “When I recollect my misdiagnosed into right diagnosis, I still tighten up but I’m no longer overpowered with emotions by the memory of it,” Schulenburg posted on Instagram a few weeks ago.
