“Today, February 11, 2022, we bid farewell to Isabel,” stated the social media message, which was published in Spanish and translated into English. The statement added, “Although her family and friends feel her loss deeply, we know that wherever she goes, she will have fun as only she knows how. Thank you for all the messages of affection and concern. She has left feeling very loved and supported.”
Torres, who is an outspoken defender of LGBTQ+ rights, was diagnosed with the condition in 2019 while filming ‘Veneno,’ according to sources. She afterward talked to the Spanish press and stated, “My life has not been easy. Without realizing it, I have made a battle of my life. A battle that I don’t know if it will end soon or a little later. What I am clear about is that I am not going to stop fighting until the last moment.”
As word of her passing spread, online tributes and condolences began to flood in. Javier Ambrossi, the director of ‘Veneno,’ posted on Instagram by writing, “I can only thank you, Isabel.
