Here is everything you need to know.
Wendy Williams gets candid about her struggles with lymphedema
Wendy Williams recently sat down with TMZ Live on Tuesday to talk about her new career choices after her talk show ended earlier this month completing 13 seasons.
However, during the interview, the 57-year-old television host shocked us all when she revealed her battle with lymphedema.
If you didn’t know, lymphedema is a medical condition that causes swelling in an arm or leg due to lymphatic system blockage. It is said to be an incurable illness however it can be controlled with the correct treatment.
While talking with TMZ’s Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere, Williams reached up to lift her feet to show how swollen they had gotten because of her ongoing battle with the disease.
Wendy Williams on @TMZ Live today, I don’t know what to say. Who in her circle allowed this to happen? No one would want to be seen like this. I pray her handlers would do better by her, this was heartbreaking to watch. I’m not a fan, but I’m a person & this breaks my heart.

She said while pointing to her swollen feet, ‘Ok, lymphedema is this. Do you see this right here? Look. No, look closely.’
Williams also mentioned that currently, she can only feel ‘maybe 5 percent’ of her feet.
The broadcaster continued that the condition is bad enough that it could put her in a wheelchair.
The Queen of all media shared, ‘which means, normally, I would be in a wheelchair. I’m not in a wheelchair. I can stand up.’
When the interviewers asked Williams about how she is doing physically, she quipped, ‘Better than you’.
Wendy Williams hints about planning her next career move
Wendy Williams revealed her plans to launch her next career plans during the interview with the outlet.
The four-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee mentioned that she is interested in starting her own podcast.
She said, ‘When you’re famous, podcasts will make more money for me, being famous, than doing the Wendy Williams Show.’
The possible podcast is still in the planning stages so it remains unclear what Williams will talk about in her show.
Moreover, the star clearly explained that she is ‘100 percent retired’ from her long-running The Wendy Williams Show.
Regardless, Williams’ representative Will Selby pointed out that the host is busy lining up guests for her podcast.
It is reported that Williams contacted musicians such as Snoop Dogg and Fat Joe to make guest appearances on her podcast.
