The artist, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was killed in Houston on Tuesday. Ja Rule, Kid Cudi, Khalid and Dave posted tributes via social media, while Rick Ross called rapper Takeoff a young legend. Migos were one of the most influential groups of their generation, spearheading a way of rapping in choppy, staccato trios known as the Migos flow. The band, who split recently, scored a few global hits including Bad and Boujee, Versace and Walk It Talk It. After Migos rapper Takeoff was shot dead in Houston, Texas, videos of the occurrence started circling on the news sites and across social media, disturbing many fans on the web.

The Houston Police Office confirmed that the rapper Takeoff and his Migos group member and relative Quavo real name Quavious Marshall — were going to a confidential party at 810 Billiards and Bowling when the shooting happened. Migos Rapper Takeoff Shot Dead In Houston

In an unfortunate turn of events, Migos rapper Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot dead promptly early in the morning on Tuesday in Houston, Texas. In the wake of confirmation from several law enforcement sources and different onlookers, a publication detailed that the celebrated rapper was killed at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards and Bowling Houston around 2:30 am. Assuming reports are anything to go by, the youngest member of Migos, Takeoff, was visiting the bowling alley with Quavo. There he got into a quarrel with somebody and in reprisal, the unidentified man started shooting at him, harming a few in the area. The shot, sadly, hit rapper Takeoff on or close to his head and he was pronounced dead on the scene. In footage got by TMZ Hip Hop, Quavocan be seen at the crime location in an orange shirt. Fans of the rapper have been mentioning netizens to not share the frightening video online keeping in mind his family and close ones.
