A fight broke out between a man claiming to be a fan of NBA Youngboy and NLE Choppa on January 17, 2022, at the airport. The encounter allegedly seems to have ended in a fistfight between the rapper and the fan.
The video features the man, who appears to be recording the same, who shows the rapper in a red and orange outfit. He asked the rapper “Are you scared? are you NLE? I asked you mad times, what stop playing me.” By then the screen seems to have gone blank as the fan dropped the camera. Both of them screamed and shouted at each other amidst the encounter.

The Youngboy fan claims to have knocked NLA Choppa down. In spite of the fan’s claims, he had not knocked the rapper down. Another video resurfacing on Twitter showed NLE Choppa punching the Youngboy fan. However, by this time, the fan had run away.
The rapper has not addressed the incident yet, in public.
Tensions Between NLE Choppa and NBA Youngboy
NLE Choppa and NBA Youngboy have had similar rapping styles for years now. Both of them have made a name for themselves in this field.
A controversy arose after NBA YoungBoy’s song Bring The Hook allegedly dissed O Block. Things took an ugly turn thereafter, leading to tensions amidst the two rappers. Moreover, many rappers in the industry disregarded NBA Youngboy for the same. NLE Choppa did not support NBA YoungBoy’s recent diss despite being friendly with him in the past.
A 2020 interview with NLE Choppa on Real 92.3 mentioned Lil Wayne as a rap inspiration. Moreover, in the same interview, the interviewer asked the rapper about the situation between him and NBA Youngboy.
NLE Choppa replied that he was unaware as to how NBA YoungBoy confused himself. He further added, “I mean, I don’t talk to him. I don’t know him.”
