On February 8, rapper Nelly was trending on Twitter, forcing him to issue an apology. 3.3 million of his Instagram followers were shocked when he posted a video of him in an intimate setting. In response to the video’s viral success, Twitter has been flooded with memes about the topic.
Despite being unable to see the rapper’s face, anyone could identify him by the sound of his voice. Later, the video was removed from his Instagram stories; however, fans were able to obtain a copy.
Through TMZ, Nelly, aka Cornel Haynes, apologized for his actions. His sincere apologies go out to the young girl and her family. “this is unwanted publicity for her/them.”
The rapper clarified that the video was intended to be private and was never meant to be released to the public.
Nelson’s Team Issues Clarifications On His Behalf
Though he didn’t reveal exactly how the video came into the public domain. His team suggested that his Instagram account might have been hacked. As well as saying they would dig deeper into the matter, they confirmed an investigation is underway. But they are more worried about the rapper’s privacy since they are skeptical about some of his most personal details, such as financial information, personal documents, and passwords.
In the video clip, his face isn’t visible since he is receiving oral sex from a woman. However, he can be heard in the background.

Nelly’s Recent Instagram Story Has Twitter In A Spin
This clip, which lasted less than a minute, was met with several responses. In response to viewers viewing such a large amount of the video, Nelly’s representatives claim that his phone was hacked. An Air Force One’s representative told the outlet they were worried that hackers had breached his information, as well as the possibility of leaking further sensitive information, such as passwords and financial documents. Several viewers commented on the video:
One user commented on Nelly’s Hot in Herre from 2002, writing ‘Now Nelly it sounds like that video gets real hot-three laughing emojis included’.
A journalist wrote, ‘Reminder that the woman in the Nelly video didn’t give consent for sharing the video, so perhaps you shouldn’t share it.
