Internet stars Kai Cenat and Darren “IShowSpeed” recently made headlines with their chaotic collaboration on the viral indie game Chained Together. On July 21, 2024, Kai Cenat journeyed to Miami, Florida, for a special livestream event where the two content creators upped the stakes by chaining themselves together while playing the game in separate rooms.

The livestream, which started off with high energy and enthusiasm, took a dramatic turn over an hour into the broadcast. IShowSpeed decided to prank the two-time Streamer of the Year award winner by instructing him to press the Alt and F4 keys, a well-known trick that closes the game. The interaction unfolded with IShowSpeed saying:

“No, no! This is not it, bro! Oh, my god, bruh! You’re a f**king idiot, bruh! No, wait. Kai, Kai, Kai, I think it’s… press Alt and press F4. Yeah, yeah, yeah.”

Kai Cenat, unaware of the trick, followed the instruction and immediately realized he’d been duped. Enraged, he lashed out at IShowSpeed, pulling on the chain they wore, which caused IShowSpeed to fall from his chair. Kai’s frustration was palpable as he exclaimed:

“Why would you do that, you fking fat bch?! Stop! Oh, my god! He’s a fking idiot! You’re a fking idiot! Do you want to beat the fking game or not? Like, god damn, bro! You got my fingers hurting and st!”

IShowSpeed, while initially amused, quickly realized the extent of Kai’s anger. He responded by acknowledging the prank’s clichéd nature and apologizing:

“You fell for the oldest trick in the fking book! Dumba monkey! Shut up! Dumba** monkey fell for the oldest trick in the book! Bro, we are… okay, it’s my fault. All right? Come on. Okay, my fault. My fault. Okay, okay, my fault. All right, let’s play. I’m sorry.”

The incident quickly went viral, with X user @scubaryan_’s post showcasing the prank receiving over 520k impressions within hours. The online community had mixed reactions to the event. One user, @omarhustla, commented on the simplicity of the trick, writing, “Imagine falling for that trick in 2024.” Another user, @Trainwrecks1v3, humorously noted, “Yeah, they (are) not finishing this game.”

Despite the prank and the ensuing chaos, many viewers enjoyed the collaboration. X user @daemonrage6 summed up the sentiment of many fans: “This collab stream has been amazing so far.”
