The body was found around 100 yards from the Longview Gardens apartment building. She was reportedly violently abducted by Cleotha Abston who was later arrested and accused of aggravated kidnapping and reportedly tampering with Evidence.

Eliza Fletcher disappeared early on Friday morning after going for a run close to the University of Memphis grounds. Her body was found on Monday behind an empty home close to where she was reportedly kidnapped, as indicated by police.
