A video leak shows veteran forward Draymond Green violently punching his fellow teammate Jordan Poole.

Draymond Green and Jordan Poole get violent during practice

News about a scuffle between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole has been making rounds on social media earlier this week.

Additionally, a recently leaked clip reveals what happened between the two players during the Golden State Warriors practice.

The video begins with Green and Poole trash-talking each other. However, moments later Green goes on to confront the latter face to face.

Moreover, it shows Poole placing his hands on Green’s chest to push him away. But at that moment, the 6 foot 6 inches athlete knocked Poole to the ground. 

The video concludes with coaches and other players rushing toward them in the hopes of diffusing the tension between Green and Poole.

The video then cuts off but we know now through the Warriors GM Bob Myers that Draymond has since apologized to the team and will be sanctioned internally

Warriors GM Bob Myers addressed the incident

Warriors General Manager Bob Myers released a statement on Thursday to address Draymond Green’s violent action towards Jordan Poole.

He said, ‘Look, it’s the NBA. It’s professional sports. These things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens.’

Furthermore, he stated, ‘Draymond apologized to the team. Jordan was there in the room…As far as any suspension, punishment, fine, we will handle that internally.’

Myers went on to share, ‘Draymond is one of my favorite players. I told him that. Still love the person. Don’t love what he did, but still love the guy. He’s complicated. But he is a good person. He is a good person, he is. I’ve seen it, I’ve seen a lot of things he’s done. [Wednesday’s fight] wasn’t one of them.’

Other professional players react to the incident

Many athletes from different sports took to social media to share their feelings over Draymond Green’s behavior.

Trae Young, star point guard of Hawks wrote, ‘Draymond is tryna get to LA. Damn!’

Moreover, Knicks forward Evan Fournier chimed in saying, ‘There is no way you can get back to being teammates after a punch like that.’

Lamar Jackson, the Ravens quarterback, mentioned, ‘That boy would’ve had to see me until I retired out the NBA.’

Subsequently, Max Homa from golf said, ‘Adding another reason to why I’m glad I play golf. That punch would have killed me.’
