Walt Disney Animation opening a new studio in Vancouver

Walt Disney animation studio is one of the world’s largest American animation corporations that’s the best-known producing animated cartoons and family entertainment. It’s also one of the world’s largest media alliances.

New Disney studio at Vancouver

Walt Disney Animation Studios is now all set to open a new installation in Vancouver, British Columbia soon. And according to a report, the new studio will produce and feature “ special projects” for Disney+. The Moana will be the first project to be are from the new studio, it is said that it will be a musical series.
The new studio will be going to create a short film series along with long-form ones.

And the aforesaid, musical series, Moana will be an amazing movie on Disney+. And showrunner will be an Israeli Osnat Shurer with an Oscar nomination for Moana film 2016. Disney announces its feature films will proceed to be made at the company’s Burbank studio.
Also in Vancouver, the head of Walt Disney Animation studios will serve by Amir Nasrabadi who has served in Walt Disney Studio as a Finance lead in the past.

He has a lot of experience in the management field. He worked in Pixar Canada as General Manager or VP and as well as he also did senior leadership roles. Also, he is working At WildBrain studios recently as General Manager. He spent 10 years, 1999 to 2009, in Disney’s finance department.

Nasrabadi is also excited to become a member of Walt Disney once again. Many talented employers will be there who will help to make understand the storytelling.

Disney New Studio: Official Opening

The official opening of the Vancouver studio is intending to open in January 2022. And the recruiting process will begin. Available positions include layout, character TD, general TD, animation, look development, lighting. The statement of the new Vancouver studio is a substantial move for Disney, provided that the Burbank headquarters is nowadays the company’s sole animation creation hub in the globe.
Downtown Vancouver’s Gastown district was also formerly the home of Pixar Canada, a studio that primarily focused on creating Disney Pixar’s short films. This move is a development for the company, which later only counted of the Burbank studio.
