The speculation originated from an Instagram page called Mouse Trap News, which boasts over 106,000 followers. While the rumor caused quite a stir, the truth is far less sensational.

The rumor can be traced back to a Mouse Trap News Instagram post on November 26, 2024, alongside an article on their website. As a self-proclaimed parody outlet, Mouse Trap News explicitly warns readers to approach their content with skepticism. The site’s “About” section humorously describes itself as the “world’s best satire and parody site,” emphasizing that its stories, while entertaining, are entirely fabricated.
The post described the fictional ticket as the “Unlimited Disney Pass,” supposedly granting lifetime entry for the owner and three guests to any Disney park worldwide. The package also allegedly included free stays at select Disney resort hotels, unlimited access to the exclusive Club 33, and the option to live at Disney properties indefinitely.
Mouse Trap News even calculated how the $10 million ticket could “pay for itself” in 22 years, based on average family spending at Disney parks. However, all these claims were part of the satire, not rooted in reality.
Despite the buzz it generated, the $10 million Disney World ticket rumor is nothing more than a playful hoax by Mouse Trap News. As a premier vacation destination, Disney World offers a range of ticketing options to suit various budgets, but none that would rival the price of a luxury mansion.
