As the omicron is spreading all over the world, all the countries are imposing restrictions to control coronavirus cases. But recently a flight boarded from Montreal to Cancun avoided all the restrictions. We can see it in the video going viral on the internet.
What is the Case?
The Sunwing Flight consisted of While passengers and flew out of Canada. They were not wearing a mask while traveling. Their video is going viral in which they are vaping and drinking on the flight without any fear of Covid.
Since covid cases are rising again, those maskless passengers did not care about the covid protocols and enjoyed to the fullest by taking the risk of their life. They had spent a good time together, under the influence, on the flight creating a risky environment for others.
The wild passenger’s group was drinking Grey Goose vodka on the flight. After watching the video, you can easily spot a yellow-colored vaping device that had appeared on different videos captured by those passengers.
All of them were creating their memories by snapping pictures and taking videos. They were also dancing and jumping on the plane while it was in the air traveling to its destination.
Statements by the Officials
This video is trending on Twitter and catching the eyes of several Twitter users. Can ada’s minister of transport also saw this video and he is very upset with the behavior of the passengers. According to him, it was unacceptable on a flight and also they avoided Covid-19 protocols which should be followed with utmost seriousness.
Canada’s minister of transport, Omar Alghabra, said, “the health and safety of on-board personnel as well as passengers during a flight is a top priority. Passengers on Sunwing’s flight to Cancun will be held accountable for their actions.”
Rena Kisfalvi, Canadian Union of Public Employee’s president said, “there is a point where if you lose control, you cannot get it back sometimes. Compliance with mask rules has been a massive issue. I am not sure where Transport Canada is on this. Why have not you done more?”
The authorities of Sunwing have posted a statement that says, “unfortunately, the group did not accept all of the terms. As a result of our ongoing investigation and the group’s refusal to accept all terms of carriage, we have made the decision to cancel the return flight. We regret any inconvenience to the passengers.”

The caption of the video on Twitter says, “in case you are wondering why Sunwing is trending. No, it did not go out of business (yet). Moronic Quebec ‘influencers’ decided to turn a Cancun-bound plane into their own personal nightclub.”
As per sources, the “influencer” traveling on the Sunwing’s flight was seen in some of the reality shows. They were wearing no mask and even were close enough to spread the virus easily. After talking to the officials, it is expected that each passenger would have to pay $5000 for their action.
