Ariel Elias took the stage of Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey over the weekend on Saturday, October 8th.
She opened her performance with a question-and-answer segment. But seemingly regretted it when a woman in the crowd repeatedly asked her whether she was a Trump supporter.
Subsequently, Elias jokingly replied with, ‘Why would you ask me that knowing I’m the only Jew in this room? Are you trying to get me killed?!’
However, the women yelled back, ‘So you voted for Biden?’
Moreover, the two did a cringe-worthy back and forth before the heckler pointed out, ‘I could just tell by your jokes you voted for Biden.’
Elias shut down the woman when she said, ‘I can tell by the fact that you’re still talking when nobody wants you to that you voted for Trump.’
Nevertheless, Elias tries to continue with her set when suddenly someone throws a beer can at her head moments later. It landed with a thud against the wall behind her spraying the content everywhere as it dropped on the floor.
A shocked Elias on the other hand is seen picking the can from the ground as she chugs down the remaining content of the beer.
Meanwhile, Elias talked about the hecklers during an interview with Rolling Stone.
She mentioned, ‘My message to last night’s hecklers is that therapy is great, I highly recommend it. Or just write down your feelings. I promise you’ll feel like throwing things less.’
