On Sunday, Demi Moore wished her ex-husband Bruce Willis a happy 68th birthday on social media. The 60-year-old actress shared a video of her entire family singing happy birthday to the Die Hard star before presenting him with a candlelit apple pie. As part of the celebration, Rumer, 34, Scout, 31; and Tallulah, 29 – who also shared touching tributes on Instagram – attended with their partners. Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming, 44, whose birthday post he shared earlier in the day was seen presenting him with the confection and kissing him on the cheek. The two daughters of Bruce and Emma were also present to celebrate their dear dad’s birthday – Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, eight. In a later post, Emma – who has been married to the Moonlighting actor for around 13 years – showed off a close-up of what appeared to be a delicious apple pie. ‘I tried to get a pumpkin pie,’ the model wrote over the photo, mentioning that pumpkin is one of his favourite things. It was a no-go. His second favourite pie is apple pie.

In the caption, Emma wrote, He is pure love. It is clear that he is loved. I’ll love him forever. My sweetheart, happy birthday. Additionally, Emma posted a heartfelt message regarding her husband’s diagnosis of dementia. Emma described watching Bruce’s videos as “a knife in my heart” in her video post as she described making a reel for him. Amidst their father’s dual diagnosis of aphasia and dementia, his adult daughters shared throwback photos with him and wished him a very happy birthday. Rumer – who is expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas, 28 – posted the video of her family singing happy birthday together. She chose a thumbnail photo of herself being carried by Bruce as a baby. In her caption, she wished Daddio a happy birthday. I love you to the moon and back. I think you are so cool. Aphasia, a brain disorder affecting his ability to understand language, forced Bruce Willis to retire from acting less than a year ago.
