A piece of shocking news is coming from Northwest Baltimore where two police officers were shot while trying to catch a murder aspect. The officials have revealed the information to the media. However, the report stated by the officials also states that both the officers are in good health and are recovering well. Though still, they are under observation the wounds aren’t very deep so we can expect them to return to duty soon.
Both the police officers got injured from the shooting that took place in the parking lot of Security Square Mall. The shooting started at 8 a.m. leaving the two officers injured. However, the suspect who fired the shots on both the police officers was shot and he died on the spot. His death was confirmed by the Baltimore County police. The suspect was 32 years old and was caught for the murder that happened in Baltimore on June 19. The Baltimore Police confirmed all the above details and said that we are investigating further.
The two Baltimore police officers injured in an incident in which one suspect was killed were working on the Warrant Apprehension task force at the time of the shooting, officials said. The U.S. Marshals regional fugitive task force was also present at that time and hence they helped them to get to the suspect and thus they shot him down. The officers are alert, conscious and in stable condition, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott said. This incident has brought the police forces on their toes as they are looking into the matter of how the suspect got released and how he got out of Jail. It is expected that the Baltimore Mayor will soon hold a press conference for further details.
