Recently, Lil Nas X shared the cover art of his upcoming single, “J Christ,” on social media. The image showed the rapper on a crucifix in reference to Jesus, with the caption, “MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME”.

Netizens have accused Lil Nas X of disrespecting Jesus and Christianity, slamming him for being insensitive towards the religion and God. However, Lil Nas X took to social media to defend himself, claiming he didn’t make fun of Jesus or Christianity.

One of the top Twitch streamers, Kai Cenat, slammed Lil Nas X in one of his streams for the cover art of his upcoming single. Regarding the matter, Kai said, “No, f**k that! Yo, Lil Nas X- you could eat my whole- I hate that n****, bro! Now that’s just popping in my head, bro. That n****, bro….god is going to handle you in the right way. I don’t even want to talk about that yet, bro. But look- god is going to handle you, bro!”.
