Twitch streamer PayMoneyWubby gets banned

While streamers getting banned on Twitch or other similar platforms isn’t something new, the recent ban on Twitch has affected streamer PayMoneyWubby. Wubby was viewing explicit art during his livestream, resulting in his ban on the platform.

Wubby’s ban on Twitch is set to last for up to 7 days, as he mentioned on social media. He wrote about his ban, stating, “7 day ban and I’m a danger to children across America. I shoulda just shown my whole a**hole and taken 3 day instead….”.

What made PayMoneyWubby get banned on Twitch?

During a recent livestream, Wubby was checking explicit art on Twitch from the art section. In response to this, the streamer said, “I’m looking at p**** on Twitch…..Yes, shade the areola”. Though the stream seems to have violated the guidelines of Twitch resulting in Wubby’s ban on the platform later on.

Not to miss, just a few days ago, Twitch had come up with updates on guidelines for sexual content on the platform. The new updates allow many previously prohibited contents to be now permitted on Twitch, provided they are labeled. However, it seems that the guidelines created confusion for Wubby.

Twitch’s updates guidelines on sexual content

After an outrage over seemingly “topless” content on Twitch, the platform has come up with clear guidelines on what kind of sexual content would be allowed. The updates were released this week on December 13th, bringing mixed reactions from users.

Not to forget, Twitch had allowed “fictionalized….fully exposed female presenting breasts and/or buttocks regardless of gender”. However, the condition on the same is that such content should be properly labeled. But it looks like that has created confusion among many of the users already.
