The rapper belted out his hits at the award ceremony. He also gifted his fans by performing an unreleased song likely to be included in his upcoming album.

Travis Scott performed his songs on Sunday at Billboard Music Award.
His appearance at Billboard’s this year marked his first televised award show performance following the Astroworld festival tragedy last November.
The artist sang his songs Mafia and Lost Forever with an icy landscape serving as the backdrop. He sported a fuzzy-looking outfit for his performance while his backup dancers also wore something similar.

The rapper performed his song Mafia to a woman donning a white bikini with a fur coat.
The stage changed to a black and white set for Scott’s performance of Lost Forever. The star did not address the tragedy onstage but pushed the camera to face the roaring crowd by the end of his performance.
The ceremony was hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs and French Montana.
According to an Instagram post shared by Diddy on Monday, he confines that he got the gig for Scott.
On the Billboard’s red carpet, the rapper was accompanied by his on and off girlfriend Kylie Jenner and their 4-year-old daughter Stormi. The pair once again became parents this time to a baby boy in February.
Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen also appeared for the first time after he received backlash for a clip that showed him shouting the N-word went viral in 2021.

Astroworld music festival tragedy
During Travis Scott’s set at Astroworld Festival in Houston, a crowd crush began that allegedly left ten concertgoers dead and hundreds injured.
While some attendees claim that Scott kept on performing despite the audience shouting warnings. On the other hand, the rapper maintains that he was unable to hear any screams.
Scott has kept a relatively low profile after the Astroworld tragedy. Moreover, he has offered to pay the funeral costs for the victims.Â
Regardless, Scott was canceled from multiple concert appearances. He was also axed from his frequent collaboration with luxury brand Dior.
The rapper is all set to release his long-delayed album titled ‘Utopia’ in the coming weeks.
This will be Scott’s fourth studio album preceded by Studio albums Rodeo (2015), Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), and Astroworld (2018). The singer also released a compilation album called Jackboys in 2019.Â
