Travis Barker revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus just two months following his battle with ‘severe life-threatening’ pancreatitis.

Travis Barker took to Instagram to break the news of his current health woe on Thursday.
He shared a picture of himself sitting in a dimly lit room while seemingly playing drums on a table.
Barker outlined the post with a caption that read, ‘Covid sucks. I’d rather be playing drums.’
The Blink-182 drummer was most recently playing drums for his friend Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘Mainstream Sellout Tour’ which is set to conclude in October this year.

Travis Barker also took to social media to express their concern for the drummer’s health. Most of them wrote concern-filled messages for him while others urged him to take care of himself.
Moreover, while some fans wished him a speedy recovery others told Barker to focus more on his health.

Travis Barker’s battle with pancreatitis
Travis Barker’s latest health scare comes two months after he was hospitalized for pancreatitis in late June. The illness was caused because of inflammation in his pancreas.
The 46-year-old shared the details of the experience on his Instagram Story when he was discharged.
Barker mentioned that he went to the medical facility for a routine procedure. However, during the surgery, one of his pancreatic drainage tubes was damaged.
The father of two wrote, ‘I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.’
He further explained, ‘During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.’
Meanwhile, Barker’s wife and celebrity Kourtney Kardashian, was by his side throughout the time he was hospitalized in Los Angeles.
At that time she claimed, ‘Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been. Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change. Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.’
