An alleged new mugshot of Tory Lanez is currently making rounds on social media. However, fans have begun to poke fun at him after noticing his beaming smile in the picture.

Tory Lanez is grinning widely in the alleged new mugshot

Tory Lanez is facing some heat after an alleged new mugshot surfaced on social media with the convicted felon giving a broad smile for the camera. 

If you didn’t know, the Canadian native is currently behind the bars after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July 2020. 

He is facing a jail sentence of up to twenty-two years along with deportation. Moreover, he is awaiting his sentencing which is slated to happen next month.

Meanwhile, an alleged mugshot of Lanez flashing his pearly whites surfaced online earlier this week. However, the picture instantly went viral with netizens starting to roast the R&B singer.  

Besides that, in the picture, Lanez is seen wearing a pastel pink suit along with a white turtleneck underneath. It appears to be an outfit similar to the one he donned during his trial.

Lanez’s sentencing was delayed by a month after he hired new lawyers. He replaced his former attorneys George Mgdesyan and Shawn Holley with David Kenner and Matthew Barhoma.

Hence, Judge David Herriford decided to rule the sentencing to 28th February.

Kenner on the other hand gained limelight and notoriety in the early 90s after he became the primary attorney for Suge Knight and Death Row Records.

Netizens react to the alleged smiling mugshot of Tory Lanez 

Social media users have taken to Twitter to make fun of Tory Lanez after the alleged mugshot of him went viral on the internet.

A user wrote, ‘Bro tryin so hard to smile  behind that smile is a man scared asf going to one of the worst prisons in the USA.’

Another penned, ‘LA Prisons ain’t no joke lol. The gang politics in there is STRICT.’

A different user chimed in to say, ‘Dude turned a mug shot into a yearbook photo like he graduated.’

Someone else noted, ‘I don’t know if he’s going to jail, or if he just started second grade.’

Moreover, another pointed out, ‘That’s the kind of picture your mom stole the proof from the school and put it in a picture album.’

Meanwhile, despite the guilty verdict, few of Lanez’s fans continued to defend him and spoke in favor of him.
