Tom Brady Comes Out of Retirement: Announces Return to the Sports World

Tom Brady is ready for the game. However, he will switch gears this time and play basketball rather than football. On March 23, the WNBA announced that the recently retired quarterback had acquired an ownership interest in the Las Vegas Aces. Today I have some really exciting news to share, Brady said in an Instagram video. It is my pleasure to announce that I will be joining the Las Vegas Aces organization. It was overwhelming to see the world’s top athletes return to my building.
As well as sharing his connection to the purchase decision, the seven-time Super Bowl champion shared his personal story. I had three older sisters when I was a child. In their own right, they were all incredible athletes. I looked up to them as role models. I developed my love of women’s sports there. As usual, I followed along. All their games had me as the annoying little brother. I still consider them to be one of my greatest inspirations since they were our best athletes in the house. Brady is thrilled to become a member of the Las Vegas Aces.

Tom Brady is ready to play. Rather than playing football, he switched to basketball this time. WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces announced on March 23 that the recently retired quarterback, 45, has acquired ownership interests in the team. I have some really exciting news to share with you today, Brady said in an Instagram video. It’s my pleasure to announce that I will be joining the Las Vegas Aces organization. As soon as I stepped back inside the building I was surrounded by some of the best athletes in the world. As part of his explanation, the seven-time Super Bowl champion shared his own connection to the purchase decision. He noted that he grew up with three older sisters. Each of them was an incredible athlete in their own right. My role models were them. My love of women’s sports began there. I went along with them. In all their games, I was the annoying little brother. We had the best athletes in our house, and they continue to inspire me. The Las Vegas Aces’ family is thrilled to have Brady on board. The Aces players and staff and the WNBA continue to do a great job to grow the sport and empower the next generation of female athletes. One of those athletes I have in my own family, Brady- has a 10-year-old daughter with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
As a member of such an excellent organization, I am ready to contribute in any way I can. This is such an honour. After the Aces’ 2022 championship, Tom Brady-who likewise shares child Benjamin, 13, with the supermodel, and son Jack, 15, with his ex-Bridget Moynahan-expressed his longing to assist with adding one more prize to their trophy cabinet. I am looking forward to watching these amazing talented players bring another championship to Las Vegas, Tom Brady concluded. As reported in a press release from the Aces, Tom Brady was first introduced to the team at a May game. The release noted that Tom knew he wanted to join the Las Vegas Aces organization after watching the outstanding quality of play and the passion of the fans. It was stated in the release that Brady’s purchase is subject to approval by the WNBA. The move is not the only one he’s made since announcing his retirement from the NFL in February. Additionally, he mentioned that he plans to join the Fox Sports broadcasting team in the Fall of 2024 after playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots. Besides that, he continues to run his businesses, including the Brady brand, and spend time with his family.
