The first video was released by Elena on this Mold Infestation series on 3rd December 2021. She wrote the caption, “TikTok please help we don’t know what to do we are just broke college students.”

Elena explained in the video how she and her flatmates started having headaches, randomly, when they shifted at that place. They watched some of the mold TikTok videos and it influenced them to order a self-testing kit online. They tried to test the brown-green material that was settled in the vent of their flat.

Earlier the landlord told them it was just the dust particles. But when the result of self-testing came out the students were shocked and they called the landlord. Then the landlord replaced their vent and cleaned it with Lysol.

The students were not satisfied, therefore they asked the landlord for conducting a mold inspection on the doctor’s advice. But the landlord agreed on their demand only if they will pay the fees for the inspection if nothing will come out as the result.
