Jeffery Lynn Johnson or Jeff Johnson was into reptile dealing and also appeared in a documentary by Netflix Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness Season 1. Jeff was in direct contact with Joe Exotic for quite a time ago and was seen in Episode Four, Playing with the fire of the Netflix Documentary. On November 17, the second season of Tiger King was released on Netflix. It featured the stars Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. The reptile dealer tried to attempt suicide at his home in Oklahoma City and passed away.
Jeff Passed Away In September 2021
On Monday, Oklahoma City, where the suicide occurred on September 8th, 2021 as per the reports. The police department of the city also revealed that Jeff committed suicide during an argument with his wife Charity.
According to reports, his wife was present at the scene when he tried to attempt suicide. As per his wife, he killed himself in front of her while a hot argument was going in the garage of their house. Police report his details regarding the suicide. The police officials arrived at the scene around 10 PM on 8 September after they got news about the suicide. Reports state that Jeff had a pulse when the two were in the garage but later passed away at the hospital. The couple had their four and five-year-old kids inside the home.
Tiger King Star Erik Cowie Passed Away
Another shocking news that comes is of death of Erik Cowie who also appeared in Tiger King. The star passed away just a few days before Jeff. The reason for the star death was acute and chronic liquor use according to N.Y.C. Medical Examiner’s office. Erik was a former zookeeper at Joe Exotic’s Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park. He was in a Brooklyn apartment when found dead by police on 3 September 2021. An unconscious male reported the scene to the police by calling 911. Fans pay tribute to both the cast member of Tiger King as the second season is released.
