According to reports, Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola’s return to Jersey Shore was not only a shock to the fans but also to the cast members.

The Jersey Shore cast had no clue about Sammi Giancola coming back
Sources connected to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation revealed to TMZ that the entire cast including Pauly D, JWoww, Snooki, and Vinny did not know that Sammi Giancola would show up on set the last week.
Moreover, Giancola’s return is a big deal which left everyone surprised. In addition, it also evoked laughs and tears among the people which is all recorded on camera.
Subsequently, the insiders claimed that Giancola’s return will most likely air during the second half of the 6th season which is still filming.
Besides that, it is possible that Giancola decided to return because her ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is not a regular in the series.
If you didn’t know, Giancola’s tumultuous relationship with cast member Ortiz-Magro was one of the highlights of the show.
The couple was in an on-and-off relationship for five years before announcing their break up in 2014.
Sammi Giancola announces her return on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola took to social media to announce her to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation after more than a decade.
She shared a selfie of herself on 12th March Sunday and tagged the official Instagram account of Jersey Shore in it.
Subsequently, she outlined the post with a caption that read, ‘OK, I can finally say … I’m backkkk!’
Meanwhile, the official Instagram account of the MTV series celebrated Giancola’s return by citing one of her iconic catchphrases from the series.
It said, ‘She’s still the sweetest b*tch you’ll ever meet.’
Besides that, Giancola made her last appearance in the hit reality franchise in 2012. She decided not to participate after all the original cast chose to return with a spinoff show in 2018.
The New Jersey native addressed her exit in an Instagram post in March 2018.
She said, ‘I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship.’
Giancola continued, ‘I am not the same person as I was when I was 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially TOXIC SITUATIONS.’
