The Completionist has been a popular YouTuber known for his gaming videos. So far, he has shared hundreds of videos on the internet. While he is also known for co-founding The Open Hand Foundation.
After losing his mother to frontotemporal dementia in 2013. The YouTuber has been raising funds with the help of charity events, and live-streaming interviews to contribute towards dementia research. So, far the YouTuber has managed to collect around $600k fund.
Controversy: The Completionist Accused of Misusing $600k Charity Fund for Dementia Research
While Jirard Khalil, the YouTuber “The Completionist,” has raised about $600 in charity funds for contributing towards dementia research. The recent accusation against him claims that he hasn’t used those funds for the intended cause.

Some other YouTubers too have dived into this matter accusing Khalil. YouTuber Karl Jobst said in one of his videos “For the past ten years, they’ve raised over $600k, and it’s all just sitting in their bank account despite Open Hand saying the money goes to help fund research, and despite the fact that everyone believes their money is going to a worthwhile cause, this is simply not the case”.
Karl Jobst’s claims about The Completionist
YouTuber Karl Jobst made some more claims about The Completionist. As he said, “In 10 years of filings, they have not dispersed a single dollar to anyone”. He even claimed, “They have kept everything for themselves”.
Jobst added, “Jirard assures us they still have the full amount of money and are looking to donate it as soon as possible…. however, due to Open Hand’s past dishonesty, i think we do need concrete proof of this donation when it happens”.
Meanwhile, Jirard and Open Hand Foundation is yet to comment on the recent accusations.
