A female character of Gen V who plays the role of an influencer having a YouTube channel was heard saying a line that’s been grabbing attention. She called herself “Kind of like PewDiePie without the **** stuff”. Not to miss, PewDiePie too has had his fair share of controversy on social media years back.
PewDiePie’s controversy over racial slur
With fame often comes controversy too as PewDiePie too has had those. Though the YouTuber might be currently living a peaceful life with his wife and son in Japan. The YouTuber was involved in a controversy back in 2017 that made him face backlash.
During a live stream back then, the YouTuber had used a racial slur that didn’t go well with many. Post which the YouTuber was slammed and he was accused of a racial remark. The Gen V show’s line about PewDiePie recently too may have been in the context of his controversy.
