After a five-year hiatus, Taylor Swift made her return to touring in March, with her Eras Tour. Taylor Swift’s European and UK tour dates have been announced, much to the delight of fans after months of speculation! There are convincing theories that Taylor will perform at Glastonbury in 2024, even though she may not perform at Glastonbury in 2023. It was originally planned for the 33-year-old singer to headline the iconic UK festival in 2019, but COVID-19 forced the event to be cancelled. Taylor eventually announced the European dates for The Eras Tour in June, and it’s safe to say the news drove fans into a frenzy. The ‘Midnights’ singer will perform at Wembley Stadium in London on June 21 and 22, but her next booked gig isn’t until June 28 in Dublin, Ireland.

In no time, fans began to believe Taylor would finally be taking the headline spot at the legendary festival. However, no formal announcement has yet been made. Earlier this year, festival co-founder Emily Eavis told the tabloids that an anonymous female headliner had “changed her touring plans” and would be unable to perform on the Somerset stage. Glastonbury 2023 has here, a solid lineup of massive musical acts performing over the course of the weekend. The iconic music festival will take place from June 21 to June 25, with Pyramid Stage headliners comprising Arctic Monkeys, Guns N’ Roses, and Sir Elton John. Over 1,000 bands will perform on over 100 stages on the Other Stage, including Wizkid, Lana Del Rey, and Queens of the Stone Age.

Glastonbury tickets sold out in minutes when they were on sale in November 2022. The festival’s promoters stated at the time that “demand far exceeded supply.” On April 23, the event staged a ticket resale, offering any tickets that had not been paid for in full by the deadline. This batch of tickets, on the other hand, sold out in just six minutes. With this year’s festival in full swing, many people are wondering who will headline the world-renowned festival the next year. Taylor Swift will not be performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. It is possible that Taylor will make her Glastonbury debut on the Pyramid Stage at some point in the future, as she was originally scheduled to headline in 2019.

Because of the pop star’s Eras Tour, there are no openings in her US schedule that would enable her to quickly fly by Worthy Farm for the British festival, which runs from June 21 to 25. This is not to say she will not appear in 2024. Taylor eventually announced the European dates for The Eras Tour in June, and it’s safe to say the news drove fans into a frenzy.
