A rumor has been going around the internet that linked Taylor Swift with Quenton Nelson.
If you didn’t know, Nelson is a 27-year-old NFL star who is currently playing for the Indianapolis Colts.
He has previously played college football at Notre Dame and was eventually selected in the 2018 NFL draft.
Meanwhile, the rumors stem from a Twitter post shared by an account name called Linemen Issues.

It read, ‘SOURCE: After her recent split with longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift is reportedly dating Colts star guard Quenton Nelson.’
However, it is important to note that this rumor is just a hoax and not true.
Besides that, it comes after it was reported that the Anti-Hero singer called it quits with her longtime boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
Also, this is not the first time Swift has been falsely linked to an NFL star. Earlier this week, someone else tweeted that she is going out with Jack Sanborn.
The post read, ‘Rumor: After her breakup, Taylor Swift is reportedly dating Bears LB, Jack Sanborn.’
It added “Sanborn, 22, previously dated actress Margot Robbie. He broke up with her because her net worth was not over $100 million, calling her “laughably poor.”’
But again this post is intended only to be a hoax. Thus, Swift is also not romantically involved with the Chicago Bears linebacker.

Why did Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn split?
According to a report by Entertainment Tonight, a source shared that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are ‘in totally different places in their lives right now.’
They added that ‘the relationship had just run its course,’ which seemingly led to their breakup after six years.
For the unversed, Swift reportedly met Alwyn when they both attended the Met Gala in 2016. Subsequently, there were speculations that the duo have gotten engaged over the years.
They said, ‘It was more of Taylor’s decision to break up, but both of them realized that they weren’t completely right for one another.’
The insider continued, ‘They had been together for such a long time and were spending so much time together, but their personalities were just too different. Joe is more introverted, shy, and quiet.’
They went on to claim that the Shake It Off singer is ‘very focused on touring and her career right now.’ She kick-started her US Eras Tour earlier this year in March.
