Taryn Manning has apologised for posting a weird video outlining her sexual relationship with a married guy. “Orange Is the New Black” star posted on Instagram on Monday after going viral for saying she had been digitally penetrated by a man who performed anilingus repeatedly, she was “so in love” with and felt “bad” that he was married. She said, slurring her words in a car, that she “couldn’t stand” his “dumba–” wife, who allegedly branded her a “lunatic” and intended to get a restraining order. Manning addressed the gaffe in a tweet simply captioned “Video update…,” admitting she had “some time to reflect” on “the situation I’ve been dealing with.”

The 44-year-old went on to say that she “started a relationship with someone who was married & told [her] he was going to leave his wife,” but that she later “found out that wasn’t possible.” “I have pride in being a kind and ethical person,” she explained, adding, “I understand it was wrong, but the heart can make us do crazy things sometimes.” “I apologise for exposing my situation; I am not sorry for how I love,” Manning said. The actress, who has previously spoken candidly about her difficulties with alcohol, called the encounter “a huge learning lesson” and requested fans to “please give me my privacy so I can heal & mend my heart.”

The actress then called the encounter “a huge learning lesson” and asked readers to “please give me my privacy so I may recover and mend my heart.” Manning brutally revealed sexual actions she and the man reportedly conducted together in the since-deleted video. She slurred her words as she stated that she was “so in love” with him and felt “bad” that he was married but “was unable to stand” his wife, whom she claimed was threatening her with a restraining order. Manning, best known for her role as prisoner Tiffany Doggett a.k.a. Pensatucky on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, previously talked about her alcoholism and decision to remain sober. “My father died as a result of that lifestyle,” she claimed in a 2017 interview with ET. “He actually committed suicide, and I was like, ‘You know what? This is unnecessary.’ It’s ubiquitous, and it’s difficult to deal with. I’m not going to lie, I’m a really honest person, and it’s not easy. But it was critical to me that I conquer [it] because of this particular situation. Because, you know, we’re all stronger than that.”
